The Steam Plant is recruiting for a Front of House Manager. The Front of House Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the planning, organizing, training, and leadership necessary to achieve the standards developed in guest hospitality and service, employee retention, sales, costs, food quality, cleanliness, safety and sanitation.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Qualified candidates must possess knowledge of service sequence and techniques. Must possess a basic understanding of P&L and restaurant cost controls (Labor, Food, Supply) Must have knowledge of local, state and federal food sanitation standards. Candidates must have a passion for the business and compassion for people. Excellent oral and written communication skills, and outstanding leadership, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills is required. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays.
