The Steam Plant, which will be reopening in January, is now recruiting for Line Cooks to accurately and efficiently cook meats, fish, vegetables, soups and other hot food products as well as prepare and portion food products prior to cooking. Line Cooks will also perform other duties in regards to areas of food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing of cooked items and preparing appropriate garnishes for all hot menu item plates.
Candidates shall possess High School education or equivalent is required. A minimum of two years of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking is required. Line Cooks must possess at least 6 months experience in a similar capacity (or, an equivalent combination of education and related experience. Previous experience is strongly preferred. WA Food Handlers Permit is required.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays. Generous compensation and benefit package.EOE
